Operator: BeginChar Position: 52 Here's the solution for your problem: 1. Restart the printer and try to print a document. Mostly it should http://pcbugz.blogspot.com/2010/06/internal-error-0x50.html work. 2. Control Panel 3. Printers and Faxes 4. Right click HP Color Laserjet CM1312 nfi 5. Select Printing Preferences 6. Advanced Tab 7. On Print Data Optimization, change to http://forum.support.xerox.com/t5/Printing/PCL-XL-Error-and-other-weirdness/td-p/164 Optimize for Text and Vector 8. Apply then try printing a document. I had (almost) the same error message, the only difference was in the last line (Position: 33). Your hint solved my problem as well.AndyReplyDeletejzerxJune 23, 2010 at 9:53 AMThat's awesome dude!ReplyDeleteAnonymousMay 23, 2011 at 9:00 PMWorked on my Xerox internal error 0x50 Docucolor printer also. Only difference was the Xerox doesn't say "Optimize for Text and Vector". It reads Enable or Disabled. I disabled and it printed...no error. Thanks!ReplyDeleteAnonymousApril 26, 2012 at 1:16 PMworked fine for me as well in a Xerox 7556, after I desabled the Print Data Optimization at the printing preferences, starts to print perfectly.thank you very muchReplyDeleteAnonymousJune 7, 2012 at 6:40 PMWorked for PDF but not word on CM2320nf mfpReplyDeleteAnonymousSeptember 11, 2012 at 9:09 PMTurn off printer. Press and hold down right arrow ( <- ) button along with the cancel ( x ) button...as you press and hold both buttons, power on the printer. Release buttons when you see 'Permanent storage init'.After this, you will have to reconfigure your printer if your are not using the default IP address to connect it to the network. Specify the previous IP address and other network settings.Go to HP web site and download the firmware utility. Run utility and this problem will be gone. ReplyDeleteAnonymousSeptember 11, 2013 at 1:38 AMWorks for Position 32 (last line) as well. Thank you sooooooo much!ReplyDeleteAdd commentLoad

A user who is running Windows 7 32 bit edition is sending files to print (using the secure print function) - the system is reporting they have spooled fine to the printer - but when they go and release the document they are getting (more often than not) about 16 out of 21 pages (for example) and then a PCL XL Error (Subsystem: Text, InternalError 0x50, Operator: Text, Position: 8564). I have another document that 9 times out of ten will actually crash the WorkCentre completely and cause it to reboot mid way through printing. The driver we are using is the latest: "Xerox WorkCentre 7655 rev 2.0 PCL6"As mentioned the user is running Windows 7 - the printer is shared from a Windows 2003 Server which has the same version of the driver.Any suggestions from anyone?Kind regards,Luke Solved! Everything seems to work (so far) if on the printing preferences advanced tab I set "Advanced Printing Features" to Disabled.Would be nice to know why this causes issues when enabled, especially as by default the driver has it set to enabled when installed!
