Internal error -1497 (0xfffffA27) occurred. Try again. If the error occurs again, restart your workstation and try again. If the error persists, contact your System Administrator. We did a clean install of the client by removing all previous versions of client, NICI and NMAS. Any ideas? When the screen saver activates or the user locks the workstation and we try to unlock it, the error -1497 appears, and then it says that the password is incorrect. Any ideas? A:TJ, hop on over to the support area and see TID 10085576 -- it sounds like you need the NICI 2.61 referenced in the TID for the workstations. minutes. Join Now Hi everybody! I'm really stuck with this problem/scenario: I autologin in a windows XP SP3 (local, not https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/279371-login-to-novell-after-local-windows-xp-autologon in a domain) so I dont need to write my credentials to login (I'm the local Administrator user). Then I want to login to novell (from the Big Red N http://pcrepairpro13.com/internal-error-1497-novell-client.php right click mouse option) with a novell user that exists, and I get an "Internal error -1497 (0xFFFFFA27)" error. On the other hand, if I remove the windows autologin, the system internal error shows at the begining the novell login and this time, with the same novell user (and with the local administrator in the "windows" tab) I can login without any problem. Novell correctly distributes my profile ... The only difference that i see is that when i try try the first option, when autologin only in local windows, the "window tab dont internal error 1497 appear in the login novell window Âż? your knoledge would be very apreciated.  Thanks in advance  K   Reply Subscribe RELATED TOPICS: Windows 7 and Novell login problem Windows 8.1 Novell Login Issue Incase anyone isn't sure if they're running Windows XP   6 Replies Mace OP bytesnake Dec 4, 2012 at 5:50 UTC You have the current client 4.91 SP5 ? 0 Pimiento OP pootol Dec 4, 2012 at 7:39 UTC Yes! 4.91 SP5 for windows (IR1)  K 0 Datil OP donges Dec 5, 2012 at 4:51 UTC Is NMAS enabled?  A quick google seems to show a correlation between your error and NMAS being disabled.  For an example, check here:  http://www.nugi.org/index.php?topic=854
