On one particular W2K Pro machine I went to uninstall the application in order to load a newer version and got the following message: "Internal error 2237" This happened during the "Building script for actions..." stage of the uninstall. The uninstall ended right there without making any changes to the system. I was told no other software had been loaded on the machine. So I https://community.flexerasoftware.com/showthread.php?58487-Windows-Installer-error-code-2237 proceeded to manually uninstall the app (removed the program directory, the relevent MSI database file, the relevent keys from the registry, etc). I then went to run my install and it works fine until it gets to the same "Building script for action" stage, at which point it generates the same error message. According to the MSI help, the message means "Invalid or missing query string". The install runs fine on other machines, which leads me to believe it's this one box that's the culprit. Does anybody know what specifically might cause this error, or know how to get around it?
