Error 2330. 1392 when uninstalling/repairing MS Money 200 Internal Error 2330. 1392 when uninstalling/repairing MS Money 200 New 02 Jul 2007 #1 briantrease Guest Internal Error 2330. 1392 when uninstalling/repairing MS Money 200 Hello, I installed MS Money 04 a few weeks ago and all was fine. Now, all is corrupt. Trying to uninstall, repair, or install again from the CD all result in the above error, "directory is not empty". Further, when I go to delete the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Money folder, I get the error: Error 0x80070091: The directory is not empty. Just trying to open the Money folder yields: The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable. I've tried turning off UAC, turning off McAfee, and running in Safe Mode, but I still can't uninstall or delete the folder. Any thoughts? At a command prompt (run as administrator), do: C:\>chkdsk c: /f /v and then reboot the machine. A chkdsk of the system drive can only run while the system is booting. Let us now how you get on. I was not able to run chkdsk the way you suggested. When I restarted, the chkdsk simply did not run. After some online research, it seems the autochk.exe is probably corrupt. I was able to get chkdsk to run by tapping F8 for the alternate startup modes, selecting repair computer, then running the first choice, "fix startup problems" or something like that. That ran chkdsk for about 15 minutes. Afterward, all my MS Money problems were solved. However, autochk is still corrupt. How do I fix that? I get the error Database- No Definition File Found; Suggested Action- Run Webupdate. I ran the update but get the same error if I try to open the program again. Tried unistalling the program, and got the error: "Internal Error 2330. 1392. C:\ProgramData\Lavasoft\Ad-aware 2007\logs." The last time I ran the program successfully was probably a few months ago.Several postings suggested saving the 2008 version to my desktop and installing as an administrator, or re-installing the 2007 version. Both times it got stuck, saying I had already installed 2007 v. 7.0.2.5, you need to uninstall first, but when I tried to unistall the existing version I got the same 2330/1392 error. I tried the windows chkdsk utility, and deleting the Lavasoft and Ad-Aware 2007 folders from C:\ProgramData (suggested in this forum) with no luck. The failed delete gave me the error "0x80070091: the directory is not empty." If I try to open the Ad-Aware 2007 folder I get the error: "Location is not available. C:\ProgramData\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware 2007 is not accessible. The file directory is corrupted and unreadable."Not sure what to do next... frustratedHello tialynn let's try to repair first.Create a System Restore Point.Download AAW 2007 from >> http://majorgeeks.co...sonal_d506.html <
