It will http://forum.alcohol-soft.com/index.php?/topic/30985-internal-setup-error/ not allow a new install with it running. Also with newer Versions of F-Secure you may have to completely disable Deep Guard. If you have any problems with Alcohol and use Commodo Firewall such as the Internal Setup Error during the installation also after installation then make sure that you only choose Firewall in the settings not the firewall with optimal or maximum protection. It throws up the error just after the "Accept Terms" page. Any other ideas? And when you have to enter the scsi bus you replace one number of the bus for example: 347scsi you replace the 7 to a 9 like 349scsi 347... you replace the 7 to a 9 like 349... strange but It works!! Version : Internal error 25001, 1615 while installing application Roy Rutten01-17-2003, 07:20 AMHello all, There has already been a posting on this subject, but with no solution to the problem. Maybe there is one now. I use InstallShield Express 3.54 for Delphi (Delphi 7), limited edition. Even if I set up a simple project, with just one executable I get the following message during setup: Internal Error 25001.1615: RegistrationCosting::CostAllISSelfRegEntries::MsiData baseOpenView(hDatabase,_T("Select * from ISSelfReg"),hView) followed by Internal Error 25001.6: RegistrationCosting::CostAllISSelfRegEntries::MsiView Execute(hView,NULL) However, when clicking OK on both errordialogs, setup resumes. Afterwards the application functions like it should, no problems there. If I include the BDE Merge Module only, I don't get this error, however the application doesn't run after setup, since I left out needed Merge Modules like BaseVCL and DatabaseVCL. I also tried multiple OS-es (98, 2000, XP), both for creating the setup.exe and executing the setup. The problem persists. Has anyone found a solution yet to this problem ? Thanks a lot ! Roy Rutten Chandima01-17-2003, 05:01 PMThis sounds so familiar! If I am not mistaken it's a bug with a Delphi merge module. Create ampty projects with BaseVCL and DatabaseVCL modules and see if you can isoltae which one is causing the error. Let me know which it is and we can go on from there. Roy Rutten01-28-2003, 04:05 AMHello, Sorry for the delay ! Both modules (BaseVCL and DataBaseVCL) seem to cause this problem. I'm having the same problem and can verify that the BaseRTL is a problem. I tested with a InstallShield project with only BaseRT
