I tried to install McAfee and it wouldn't install properly, so I tried to uninstall it and couldn't. Now when I try to reinstall, I get prompted to Modify and I select yes but then I come up with the "Internal 2735 StopAVSyncManager" error. I've tried to download your on line scan but when it gets almost completed it says it wasn't able to download. I have received a bounced message back saying that the message contained the [emailprotected] virus. I downloaded the fix but I don't think that it did the trick because I still can't install McAfee. I NEED HELP, PLEASE!! I don't know what to do to find and/or fix. Add On: I was able to do the symantec security scan and the results came back that I do not have any viruses on my computer, so why am I getting the Internal error? brigida, Sep 5, 2002 #1 Sponsor Rollin' Rog Joined: Dec 9, 2000 Messages: 45,855 Welcome to TSG brigida. If you have Win95/98/or WinME, please go to the Reticulated Toys site below and obtain the StartLog.com application. If you need an unzipped version use the ONLY IE link at the very bottom of the Toys page. Run StartLog.com and then copy/paste the full contents of the StartUp.log file which it creates to a reply. Ignore the stubpaths.txt file. http://home.earthlink.net/~rmbox/Reticulated/Toys.html Rollin' Rog, Sep 5, 2002 #2 brigida Thread Starter Joined: Sep 2, 2002 Messages: 6 Rollin, Here are the results from what you suggested I do. thanks for any help you can give me. 1. (i forgot what macafee calls it). Otherwise, macfee anti-virus is basically still running and cannot be uninstalled properly. Trying installing your macfee again. Then disable the "autoprotect" and other features and change the settings so that they don't load the next time you boot up your comp. (no parts of mcafee antivirus should load) Then reboot. Now, your comp doesn't load any part of macafee anti-virus. Proceed to uninstall mcafee antivirus completely. Then reboot and install norton antivirus. 0 LVL 1 Overall: Level 1 Message Author Comment by:Jenn0504022002-07-10 harrlow, Thanks for the adivce I will try shutting of McAfee's autoprotect.
