Internal Error 2771. Virtual Keyboard Feature
copy of Kaspersky 6.0 from the web site as a trial version a few - weeks ago, while testing many other internet security suites. I never got around to activating it. Well I loved Kaspersky and bought it from Amazon.com, excited to register it. - FIRST PROBLEM: When I run the installation CD, it starts to install before aborting and giving me this error messageQUOTEInternal Error 2771. WholeProductFeaturethen it brings up a Kaspersky window that says "Uninstillation prematurely ended because of an error."Whatever, I though, I've already got the trial version installed, I just need the reg key. So I open up Kaspersky and go to Activation section and click on "Activating using the activation code." I fill out the form, and put in the activation code with hyphens (and without them, I tried that). It then connects to the server (status ok) and then tries to send the activation code...- SECOND PROBLEM: It gives me the message:QUOTE"System data is incorrect. Check system data settings."Don't know exactly what this is referring to but I've messed with the "LAN settings" button trying different combinations (I don't use a proxy server). No luck.I don't want to uninstall and reinstall Kaspersky, because I've already done a lot of work training the spam filter.... HELP! Don Pelotas 23.05.2007 12:56 Hi Nick & welcome1. Check that your time/date in windows are 100% corect.2. You could also change the code to a key: https://activation.kaspersky.com/ and activate 6.0 with that option instead of codes. karluv 23.05.2007 15:33 I suggest that you uninstall the trial version first and restart the PC.After restarting the PC, check the following registry entry:[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\KasperskyLab]It it exists, remove it completely. Then install Kaspersky product you have recently bought. Maybe the problem is with your setup CD. Did you check the file signature? You should see a verified digital signature of Kaspersky. In case the setup on your CD is corrupt, you can download the latest version from Kaspersky servers:Kaspersky Internet Security v6.0.2.621http://dnl-us4.kaspersky-labs.com/products...6.0.2.621en.exeKaspersky Anti-Virus v6.0.2.621http://dnl-us4.kaspersky-labs.com/products...6.0.2.621en.exe nickbeef 23.05.2007 16:20 QUOTE(Don Pelotas @ 23.05.2007 05:56)1.
