eighteencomponents. Back in the MTS days, the export featuregenerated an EXE that could be run on the client toregister the type libraries, appid's etc. needed on theclient to call the remote server. Now, the http://microsoft.public.platformsdk.complus-mts.narkive.com/FIP1BmtY/unable-to-run-complus-generated-application-proxy-on-client export featuregenerates a MSI install file. When running this file onthe client, I get an error(see below) that translates to0x80110408 -- which is COMADMIN_E_APP_FILE_READFAIL.The other error numbers (2945 and 1928) lead http://pcrepairpro13.com/internal-error-2945.php me toMicrosoft Knowledge Base Article - 308940 "HOWTO:Troubleshoot Error 1928 "Error Registering COM+Application"I followed all the advice:I defined my components with BOTH DLLs AND type librariesso that the application proxy would internal error only distribute thetype libraries (under the assumption that there is adependency issue at the root of the problem). The onlyDLLs now in the Application proxy are two proxy/stub DLLsneeded for two of the eighteen components. This did not fix the problem or change the error. Thesecond part of the article mentions that it might be apermissions issue. I was skeptical since I am internal error 2945 running asa local administrator. Nevertheless, I tracked theinstallation using SysInternal's FileMon (and RegMon). Ididn't find anything that seemed to fail that would causethe installation to fail with the errors shown below.I'm all out of ideas?...RegisterTypeLibraries: LibID: {5BD11033-46B4-11D3-8228-
