I've already researched that option and it does not apply to Office XP, only Office 2000. The error code is also a different number. I have searched through the internet and Microsoft Knowledge base thoroughly and there is no mention of this specific error code anywhere in relation to Office XP. I think I have the distinct honour of finding a brand new bug in Office XP. ScottR. The subject line of your email says "error 3218", while the body of your email says "error 2318", so I figured "2381" wasn't much of a stretch.
