Internal Error: 47-1" I'm using Navision 4.0 ES (Spanish). I've already tryed to copy the .STX from the Client folder from an healthy installation to the server client folder, but It didn't work. Any hints on this? Thanks in Advance! Marcelo Borges New York, NY, U.S.A. Navision Application Manager0 Comments markborges Member Posts: 126 2006-05-25 No tips for me? I've been searching the Internet for days but I can't find the answer. I can't believe nobody have ever tried this before. Should I contact Microsoft or Citrix support? :-s Marcelo Borges New York, NY, U.S.A. Regards 0 Feldballe Member Posts: 26 2006-05-26 When fin.exe is run and fin.smt is not present in the client-folder, there will be a recompilation of fin.stx into making a new fin.smt-file. If a new file is compilated on runtime, have your user assigned any rights to create files on Citrix? Have you tested that fin.stx or fin.smt are present in the client-folder? Make sure that it is the right files used when running fin.exe. Anyway I can inform you that the error you get should refer to the "DB Coverage Table" in the fin.stx file. 0 Phenno Member Posts: 593 200

Internal error: 47-1. Author: Administrator Views: 6690 Last Updated: 12/28/2012 08:23 AM 0 Rating/ Voters Error Message: "There are errors in the text conversion (text no. XXXX-X does not exist in the .stx file). Internal error:47-1." Issue: This error occurs when the fin.stx file is incompatible with the NAV http://jetreportskb.host4kb.com/article/AA-00584/0/There-are-errors-in-the-text-conversion.-Internal-error%3A-47-1.html database. Typically this occurs when the database has been converted and then subsequently opened with a NAV client version that is older than the client used to perform the conversion. The error message indicates that the database is looking for values in the fin.stx that do not exist. Often times these missing values are option field values or field captions in virtual tables such as the Windows Language table. Resolution: Either replace the incompatible fin.stx file with the fin.stx file that is compatible with the database version or open the correct version of the NAV client.Note:You will need to find/replace the correct FIN.STX file. The NAV utility reporting this error will be looking in the subfolder (of the NAV client folder) that corresponds to the system's regional settings. Thus, if the system's regional settings are configured for "English (United States)" the fin.stx file being examined will be located in the ENU subfolder.
