Internal Error 7204
anchored frame. I have one anchored frame on each page. The first one was OK to change. Then FM crashed without any warning on all the others. If I copied the first frame to the other pages, that worked fine. I am just wondering what's wrong...LenaSweden S***@adobeforums.com 2009-03-25 15:19:23 UTC PermalinkRaw Message Lena, it sounds like a problem that was fixed in one of the later patches for FM. 7.2b128 is very, very old and there are two patches for it -- see here:
As i understand, FDK 7.2 supports only VS.NET 2003. So i tried to build my existing DLL using VS.NET 2003 and FDK 7.2 libraries. I can build and place my DLL under the plugins directory. This DLL (api client) converts the frame files to XML, now when i open a .fm file and try to save it as a .xml file using my API Client... i get the following error: "Internal Error 7204, 6109922, 7778420, 0. FrameMaker has detected a serious problem and must quit." Any suggestions are welcome! I would point out, though, that you can still compile with VC++ 6.0 against the FDK 7.2 libraries. To do so, you'll need to add the following functions to the very beginning of the source file that contains F_ApiInitialize(): long _ftol( http://www.verycomputer.com/334_3644b51775cc4678_1.htm double ); long _ftol2( double dblSource ) { return _ftol( dblSource ); } There is a little more about this in the 7.2 Windows Platform Guide, but not much. Internal Error 7204, 6107874, 7775428, 0 Opening MIF created from FM crashes program: I just wanted to post my problem and solution for anyone that may have the same error in the future. I received this error after saving a batch of FM files as MIF and trying to open a few of the the MIFs. I solved the problem using trial and error - deleting groups of items (graphics, markers, etc) then when I found out which group, deleting specific graphics until I could save the FM as MIF and open it successfully. In my case the problem was with a certain combination of layout choices. You can recreate it this way: Create a new document. Insert a table with one row and one column. In the cell, type one word and hit hard return then type another word. After the first word, insert a graphic (anchored frame). Insert another anchored graphic after the second word. Now make the anchoring position =
Internal error 7204 We have an API client (VC++ 6.0 DLL) that used the FDK http://www.mombu.com/computer_design/general-photoshop/t-internal-error-7204-11447896.html 7.1/FM 7.1.
