Internal Error 9004 Adobe Framemaker
16 GB of RAM.The software was recently installed, and for a few weeks everything worked as expected.Today, when I open *any* existing Frame document:1) The document is blank.2) When I close the document, the content now displays underneath the "Do you want to save changes" dialog. (So my content is still there!)3) No matter which button I click, an error message displays: "Internal error 9004
9004" issue Messages sorted by: [ date ] [ thread ] [ subject ] [ author ] True. Not officially supported, but I also have run every version of FrameMaker from 7.2 onwards in 64-bit Windows (various) without any problems - particularly this error reported by Frank. Of course, FM 9 was not as stable as FM 8 (older) or FM 11 (later) versions. FM 9 did crash on me on a few occasions, but didn't require a re-installation, or stay broken for long. Usually it was some file corruption issue that a MIF save-read typically fixed. I've tried in both ways, and it's exactly the same: I get the error. > If XP, have you installed the MS hotfix? Windows is regularly updated through Windows Update. > What's in your FM doc? The document is based on some tables (it's a pricelist for our products), there are also some links to some .eps files (which are correctly displayed on screen, so the path is correct). > Did it work before or has it changed and now errors out? The file (or better the book made of about fifteen FM files) was created by someone else, on another PC. When I open it, I get the error.
