Error description You may notice errors like these in the error log on an IBM Rational ClearCase 8.x WAN Server even when the ClearCase-ClearQuest UCM integration is not being used. Mon 08 Jul 2013 01:42:13 PM EDT. host 'server', pid 18782, user 'user1' Internal Error detected in '/vobs/atria/lib/squid/ad/lib/squid_cq_credential.cxx' line 877 CCRC WAN Server: Error: Unexpected error. This is due to a product defect where a check is performed for the integration, and that check does not need to run since the integration is not in use. The WAN Server silently logs an error; clients are not affected and the operation succeeds. Steps to reproduce: 1. Join a UCM project that is not ClearQuest-enabled from ClearTeam Explorer using a web view. 2. In the web view, create a new activity and make it the current activity. The icon for this is just to the right of the current selected activity. You can also perform an operation such as checkin, checkout or add to source control and create a new activity during the process. Workarounds: None. The error is harmless and may be ignored. error detected Error messages with severity level 18 indicate an internal software bug. However, the command runs to completion, and the connection to Adaptive http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1PM92521 Server is maintained. The user can continue with the work they are doing, although they may not be able to execute a particular command. An example of a situation that http://infocenter.sybase.com/help/topic/com.sybase.infocenter.dc31654.1570/html/sag1/sag1578.htm generates severity level 18 is Adaptive Server detecting that a decision about the access path for a particular query has been made without a valid reason. Since problems that generate such messages do not keep users from their work, users tend not to report them. However, users should be instructed to inform the system administrator every time an error message with this severity level (or higher) occurs so that the system administrator can report them. Causes: This is caused by highly distorted internal error detected elements in the model, which can be the result of chamfers creating difficult to mesh geometry. Solution: To resolve the problem: Right click on Mesh Model in the Model Tree and select "Check for Mesh Quality" In the Mesh Quality window select Check Click Highlight in the Failed Elements window The failed elements should now be highlighted in green Remove chamfers from the locations that were highlighted as having failed elements Versions: 2017;2016 Article ID: kA230000000mSaL Related Articles Contributed By Support Need Assistance? Tue, 05/03/2016 - 07:59 Unfortunately I can't use inspector for any of the projects that I am working on. I am not sure if it is related to a Windows update, as it used to work before, but now for any project, level 2 (Detect Memory Problems) and level 3 (Locate Memory Problems) of Inspector fail to work. I use Windows 7 Professional, SP1, If needed I can provide a list of installed updates. I am using Inspector_XE_2016_update2 integrated with MSVS2010. I also tried Inspector 2017 beta with MSVS2012 and got the same error. Here is a part of log in Collector Messages in Inspector 2016: ...
