Internal Error In Microsoft Jet Database Engine Integration Manager
the source integration:query.deletesourcerecords()The following is returned:Deleting data in a linked table is not supported by this ISAM.Internal Error in Microsoft JET Database Engine.Source: Microsoft JET Database Engine. But when adding "query.deletesourcefile()" this works.I have tested on IM SP2 and SP3. If your source recordsare a text file, this will not work and your only option will be to usequery.deletesourcefile().To fix this issue, change your source query to use a simple ODBC queryrather than a text file directly. You can retrieve all records in your textfile by still using a simple ODBC query.Best regards,--MG.-Mariano Gomez, MIS, MCP, PMPMaximum Global Business, LLChttp://www.maximumglobalbusiness.comThe Dynamics GP Blogster at http://dynamicsgpblogster.blogspot.comPost by Mick EganI want to remove the data from the source records and applied the followingquery.deletesourcerecords()Deleting data in a linked table is not supported by this ISAM.Internal Error in Microsoft JET Database Engine.Source: Microsoft JET Database Engine. But when adding "query.deletesourcefile()" this works.I have tested on IM SP2 and SP3. Check to see if the Excel file exists (fixed name Excel file on another internal network folder)2. internal error in If #1 returns true, import data; if not, exit.If I run the package directly, it works fine, but if I schedule a job to run the package, the job can still run successfully, BUT step 1 in SSIS always return false, i.e. step 2 in SSIS will never been executed.Looking at the log, I found that the step 1 in the SSIS package always retuened false because accessing the Excel file was denied, I've tried to give the network folder FULL permission to even EVERYONE, but it still doesn't work. What I missed?
