From java to flash and shock wave plugins. Check to see if that particular website needs specific plugins to print from IE. 0 Message Author Comment by:jsgould2015-05-29 oops... Computer Science 65369237 Type Your Computer Question Here... technicalcat is online now I never used to have this problem, but in the last few months Customer Question I never used to have this problem, but in the last few months I can't get my printer to print maps (mapquest/mictosoft, etc) My PC runs IE9 and Win7 x64 Pro SP1 with an Intel I5 CPU. I suspect a problem in IE (in fact it may have been when I upgraded from IE8 to IE9 that the problem started. My printer software has just been reinstalled and everything works fine except for maps (road maps)- the driving instructions print OK, and I can print non-map web pages just fine. I have not experienced any other problems related to IE though. Hope you can help or point me in the right direction. Thanks, Arthur grayja (at) eagle.ca Submitted: 4 years ago. Category:Computer Share this conversation Expert: technicalcat replied4 years ago. Hello and thank you for using this service,Can you give me a detailed example of a website you go to for the maps? For example, do you click the "printable version" or print icons on the page itself, or are you clicking PRINT from internet explorer (file/print or print icon)? I have only tried using the Print Icons provided on the map display page. it then directs me to my printers option window where I select a print style - usually fast/economical, and if I ask for a print preview it displays that perfectly but then fails when I click on the Print icon on the Preview page.
