Internal Error Occured gareOH View Member Profile Oct 29 2011, 12:18 AM Post #1 Newbie Group: Members Posts: 6 Joined: 29-October 11 Member No.: 9,333,992 When I insert the Media in my DVD Writer, Nero (lightscrbe) allows me to design the label I wish to burn to the media, then goes through the steps to burn but before it completes, I get the error message "Internal Error Occurred". The Image was never burned, yet it is impossible to try it again as it shows tells me to insert new media. I have Nero 11 and am Running XP Pro, SP 3 wither View Member Profile Oct 29 2011, 02:40 AM Post #2 Advanced Member Group: Members Posts: 21,667 Joined: 30-August 08 Member No.: 8,132,427 There may be a Nero history log somewhere in a Cover Designer folder in C:\Documents and Settings\?????. You'll have to look around for it since I don't know the complete path.If so, add .txt to the end of the file name and then post it here.I assume you have v11 completely updated. gareOH View Member Profile Oct 29 2011, 08:42 PM Post #3 Newbie Group: Members Posts: 6 Joined: 29-October 11 Member No.: 9,333,992 Maybe there is something in the attached file that is useful, it is all that i could find Attached File(s) InfoToolLog.html ( 113.07K ) Number of downloads: 1045 wither View Member Profile Oct 30 2011, 03:20 AM Post #4 Advanced Member Group: Members Posts: 21,667 Joined: 30-August 08 Member No.: 8,132,427 That file doesn't provide burn information. In Vista and Win 7, the file would be in a path similar to this- C:\Users\"user name"\AppData\Roaming\Nero\Nero 11\Cover Designer. The name of the file should be nerohistory.log. Give a search of your C:\Documents and Settings for that name. If found, add .txt to the name of the file and then post it here. ripping error: INTERNAL ERROR Discussion in 'Nero discussion' started by wenospeak, Feb 7, 2006. wenospeak Member Joined: Aug 30, 2004 Messages: 36 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 16 Hello, ***EDIT*** New Error I tried to copy one cdr to another cdr and the program just said "Internal Error" and the "Send Report to Microsoft" window came up. The details of my system are listed a couple of posts down. Sound familiar to anyone? ***END OF EDITE*** I'm using the Dec. version of Nero 7.0.1.4 and when I use the "Convert Audio Cd's to Audio Files", it reads the cd in the drive, locates the title/track information, but when I click on "Go" each title on the Cd comes up with an error box http://forum.my.nero.com/index.php?showtopic=11022 that says "Cannot Start The Job" and the only button option is "Ok". Clicking "ok" skips the track and it does this for every track on the Cd. I'm using the Flac plug-in (which worked fine yesterday) and pointing to the usual output directory folder. I don't know how much text this post can hold, so if you want to see the saved "InfoTool.txt" file, let me know. Anyone have a clue why Nero is doing that? It gives you a chance to save or print out an log file. Save that log file on your hard disk. You will need it. Problem: You now have a bad burn - a coaster - internal error in your hand and you really don't know what went wrong. Even if you have burned several other discs with success or this is your first burning - you both have entered the same club with the name - "what to do?". Solution: Something is not working out right. It can depend on the following issues: You don't have DMA enabled Your burner don't support your media You are burning at to high rate Some settings in Nero are wrong internal error nero You are using the wrong type of disc Nero has a bug So take your log file and compare it with the following issues to what could have gone wrong with your burning. Just remember that the examples may very well be different than your own setup in your log file. The basic issues should be the same. And please - if you are new to burning - use a -RW or a +RW disc. It will be cheaper for your.
