The message reads:Cannot paste from ClipboardInternal error: Table is still checked outContinue 8703-20552What does it mean? What shall do to get rid of it?yingchen50 RE: Internal Error Eggles (TechnicalUser) 19 Feb 05 01:20 It means your document has become corrupted. While you are still able to open and view the document, you need to rebuild it in a new document. Open a new document, with same margins, page size and 'compose to' printer as the corrupted doc. Remove all styles by running the script or by deleting all but [no style] one by one. Import the styles from your corrupted document into the new one by using the flyout menu in the Styles palette. Then group and copy all elements on each spread in the original and power paste (contol+Alt+V) into the new document. You may find the corruption is due to a damaged font or graphic, in which case you need to check whether anything in particular is at fault. Otherwise the document will not print certain pages (which narrows down where the corrupted element lies). Another reason for a PM doc to get corrupted is the 'newsletter' syndrome, where you reopen last issue, delete old items and put in new ones. Over time, this will lead to corrption. It is better to set up a newsletter template containing all repeating elements, and therefore opening a new doc each issue, not rehashing an old one. Red Flag This Post Pl

However, before you go to that expense, let's look at internal error table your workflow and see if wecan find a way for you to solve this problem. You say you are changing margin settings in the master pages. Are youlooking at the master page layout view, or are you looking at theDocument Setup dialog? The Document Setup dialog is usually the placeyou set up margins. The master page is usually where you set up columnguides and other grid lines. Can you be a little more precise about whatyou are doing? Also, if you are placing one or more TIFF graphics on the master page, you're likely to have problems (an undocumented feature discovered byJane Krate Duda and announced in this newsgroup).Another question: Are you creating multiple master pages, or justworking with the default master page? Finally, what tool do you have selected (in the toolbox) when you getthe error message?Dick Futuretrack 2003-09-03 13:19:08 UTC PermalinkRaw Message DickThanks for the reply. Yes I am looking at the master page layout view. I setthe original margins in document setup. And have placed text from Word intothe new document. Now I want to adjust the RHand and LHand master pages, which I am using for the start of chapters. I open the master page then usethe 'master pages' tab and double click the master page I want to adjust -opening the master page options dialogue, make the change and then the jamoccurs - I am then stuck on the masterpage and try
