DonS Expand Collapse Active Member Likes Received: 49 Location: Phoenix, AZ I have a clients computer that has me a bit stumped at the moment. The printer attached is a Dell MFP. It has no problems printing, unless you are printing from IE. When you attempt to do so, the above error box comes up. steps taken: 1) Rolled back https://www.technibble.com/forums/threads/there-was-an-internal-error-and-internet-explorer-was-unable-to-print-this-document.55076/ IE from 11 to 10. No change. 2) Installed latest printer drivers. No change 3) Installed Chrome. Prints without issue from Chrome. 4) Ran IE as Admin. No change 5) Ran IE without add ons. No change. Any suggestions or thoughts on this would be most welcome. Thanks! #1 DonS, Feb 18, 2014 AndyM Expand Collapse Well-Known Member Likes Received: 278 Location: Peterborough, UK What are you trying to print? Plain HTML page, embedded documents? From java to flash and shock wave plugins. Check to see if that particular website needs specific plugins to print from IE. 0 Message Author Comment by:jsgould2015-05-29 oops... Computer Science 65369237 Type Your Computer Question Here... technicalcat is online now I never used to have this problem, but in the last few months Customer Question I never used to have this problem, but in the last few months I can't get my printer to print maps (mapquest/mictosoft, etc) My PC runs IE9 and Win7 x64 Pro SP1 with an Intel I5 CPU. I suspect a problem in IE (in fact it may have been when I upgraded from IE8 to IE9 that the problem started. My printer software has just been reinstalled and everything works fine except for maps (road maps)- the driving instructions print OK, and I can print non-map web pages just fine. I have not experienced any other problems related to IE though. Hope you can help or point me in the right direction. Thanks, Arthur grayja (at) eagle.ca Submitted: 4 years ago. For example, do you click the "printable version" or print icons on the page itself, or are you clicking PRINT from internet explorer (file/print or print icon)?
