The printer attached is a Dell MFP. It has no problems printing, unless you are printing from IE. When you attempt to do so, the above error box comes up. steps taken: 1) Rolled back IE from 11 to 10. No change. 2) Installed latest printer drivers. No change 3) Installed Chrome. Prints without issue from Chrome. 4) Ran IE as Admin. No change 5) Ran IE without add ons. No change. Any suggestions or thoughts on this would be most welcome. For example, do you click the "printable version" or print icons on the page itself, or are you clicking PRINT from internet explorer (file/print or print icon)? Solved Cannot print from IE 11 Posted on 2015-07-09 Web Browsers Printers and Scanners Windows 7 1 Verified Solution 13 Comments 2,144 Views Last Modified: 2015-07-29 I've got a Dell laptop, running 64 bit Win 7 Pro, that I cannot print from Internet Explorer 11 or 10. Computer was recently wiped out & re-installed, but not sure what version of IE was being used before, but there was no problem printing. I can print from Chrome or Firefox with no problem. I have tried running as administrator, tried disabling protected mode & have tried running it with no add-ons. After that, I rolled it back to IE 10, tried all the same 'fixes' & got exactly the same result, a box popping up saying 'There was an internal error, and Internet Explorer is unable to print this document'. I the page setup, I have also tried removing header & footer. Printer is a SAvin MPC3502, with the PCL6 driver. Are you able to print to the XPS driver? That should be one of the default printers on a fresh install of Windows 7. I am referencing KB973479 from Microsoft below. Try updating the video driver. IE 10 and 11 use hardware acceleration by default. You can also try turning the acceleration off under Internet O
