zoom with an image stabilizer. Pictures are viewed on the large 2.5 inch LCD screen. My Camera Will Not Turn On¶ When you press the on button the camera will not turn on. Install Batteries¶ First, verify that the batteries are installed correctly (or installed at all). Micro Switch in Battery Compartment not Depressed¶ Assuming the batteries are present and installed correctly, a common problem is that the

small white button inside the battery compartment is not being depressed. This sends the camera a signal that the battery cover is still open, and it will not turn on. The problematic button is to the right of the memory card slot in the picture. It is a small white button the size of the top of a toothpick that is pressed by a piece of plastic on the battery cover. Solution: If this plastic tab is broken, then the button is probably not getting pressed. To fix this, you can superglue your own home made tab onto the hatch. A toothpick works well for this fix. Dirty/Non-Operational Contacts¶ Another explanation for a non-operational camera is the battery contacts are dirty, or are not contacting the batteries whatsoever. Solution: To fix this, clean the contacts on the underside of the battery hatch, close the hatch and see if the camera works. If the camera still doesn't work, then try putting something under the contacts to facilitate their contact with the batteries. If all else fails, try to pull the -'ve connector right out of it's slot, to make a better connection between the connector and the batteries. GeĆ¼pload op 26 feb. 2012My Canon Powershot Camera gave me this fatal lens error restart camera error message. Restarting the camera doesn't do anything. A big thank you to the folks that helped me fix it. Where I live there is no place that fixes these camera. I had a really great repair experience fixing it with this particular place, they just specialize in the Canon Powershot cameras only and they fixed the thing perfectly! I wanted to share my experience with others as I know I am not the only one to have to deal with this lens error problem. I sent them my video but since they can't post it, I thought to put it up myself. For those of you that are having this lens error thing, the site I used was terrific and they were way less than Canon for the repair, plus they service up the camera when it is in being fixed. The camera is performing flawlessly now and I am again a happy camper! Categorie Mensen & blogs Licentie Standaard YouTube-licentie Meer weergeven Minder weergeven Laden...
