might've been in there like sand or dust but nothing came out. I was discouraged but I kept doing it and I actually tried to lighting bang the camera on he table while opening the camera and it worked! Moral of the story there is probably dust but it won't get out the first time. Try it a couple of times and bang it very gently on the table. Good luck! I did have problems arise with the A70, A75, and A80, but those occurred after their one year warranty periods expired. I thought if I did have a problem that was not due to negligence during the warranty period, I would be okay. But perhaps not?I purchased a Canon SX10 back in October 08. Since that time, I have taken excellent care of the camera, always cleaning dust and fingerprints off the lens, body, and LCD after use and storing the camera in a well padded case. I also do not think I have used the camera excessively. I have taken about 2000 shots since October. I have taken very well care of this camera. It is the most expensive camera I have owned and I have treated it like gold. The camera still physically appears in brand new condition without scratches or blemishes. It has never been dropped or damaged in anyway.Well, during July, I started experiencing an occasional problem where the camera would lock up and state 'Lens error, restart camera'. The camera would restart itself after pressing the power button a couple of times and then it would operate normally. However, the frequency of this error started increasing during the month of August. At first, it only happened when I composed my shots vertically while zooming in. But then the error started happening while zooming in when the camera was horizontal too. It soon got to the point where it would freeze up even if I wasn't zooming.Another problem arose during this time. I normally store the LCD screen flipped toward the camera to protect the screen and use the view finder. But occasionally, I like to use the LCD to take pictures at difficult angles and to review shots. Well, I started having a problem where, when I rotated the LCD screen to face me and then clicked its frame back onto the camera, the screen would go blank. Then if I lifted the frame back out, the screen would come back on and it would stay on if I pressed the frame back down, like there was a weak connection. Sometimes the image on
