Lens Error 2111 Sanyo
Same Problem\015\012\015\012- When I try to zoom in fully with my Sanyo S650 digital camera the LCD reads lens error 2111 and shuts itself off automatically. What does this mean?- Mine kinda suffered a drop whilst it had the stutter opened\015 Answers : HelloThe problem is that the lens has become stuck in the barrel. There are some DIY solutions you could try, but the \012probability is that you will have to get it fixed by a professional.Use\012\012\012\012\012\012\012 these at own risk as it may further damage the camera.Firstly ,\012 try connecting your ac adapter or usb cable.Try holding the \012shutter button while switching on the camera.Look at the lens , \012and if some of the lens 'circles' is misaligned or not concentric then \012try wiggling it (while holding camera lens down).Try gently \012pushing or pulling the lens when it extends but this is risky as it may \012cause the lens barrel to slip out of its guidance system.Another\012 way to do this is to place the camera lens down on a hard surface and \012then power it up. Be sure to use a soft cloth or something similar as to\012 not scratch your lens or casing. Let the lens push the camera up and \012down a few times and sometimes the little resistance provided by the \012camera is enough to get things going again.Try hitting your \012camera near the lens on the body with the soft tissue on the palm of \012your hand.Other than that , I would take the camera to a repair \012center for a evaluation to see if it would cost more to repair than to \012replace the camera. If it is still under warranty I would suggest\012 you take it in before trying any of these steps and remove any \012off-brand batteries or accessories as some stores are really fussy about\012 warranty repairs on camera's with non-brand accessories. You can also have a look at THIS link.Hope \012the advise is useful. please do not hesitate to let me know if you need any further assistance.RegardsAndrea Repair Help & Product Troubleshooting for Sanyo VPC-E760 Digital Camera Please enable JavaScript to view the comments powered by Disqus. Tag names are used to reference specific meta information extracted from or written to a file. TAG TABLES The tables listed below give the names of all tags recognized by ExifTool. Tag ID, Index or Sequence is given in the first column of each table. A Tag ID is the computer-readable equivalent of a tag name, and is the identifier that is actually stored in the file. An Index refers to the location of a value when found at a fixed position within a data block, and Sequence gives the order of values for a serial data stream. A Tag Name is the handle by which the information is accessed in ExifTool. In some instances, more than one name may correspond to a single tag ID. In these cases, the actual name used depends on the context in which the information is found. Case is not significant for tag names. A question mark (?) after a tag name indicates that the information is either not understood, not verified, or not very useful -- these tags are not extracted by ExifTool unless the Unknown (-u) option is enabled. Be aware that some tag names are different than the descriptions printed out by default when extracting information with exiftool. To see the tag names instead of the descriptions, use exiftool -s. The Writable column indicates whether the tag is writable by ExifTool. Anything but an N in this column means the tag is writable. A Y indicates writable information that is either unformatted or written using the existing format. Other expressions give details about the information format, and vary depending on the general type of information. The format name may be followed by a number in square brackets to indicate t
