Laddades upp den 13 nov. 2011http://camerarepair.blogspot.com/2007...This video provides a step-by-step description of techniques to repair the most common problem for digital cameras, the dreaded "lens error". This problem goes by many names, depending on the camera manufacturer. Some other names for this problem include for Canon Powershot and Nikon Coolpix "lens error", Sony Cybershot "access error", Kodak Easyshare "lens obstructed",and Fuji Finepix "zoom error" and "focus error". Some error messages may just show a number (e18 error). But no matter its name, the issue involves a problem with the extension of the camera's lens mechanism (or lens barrels). The lens doesn't extend properly or becom
solution applies to both of the following error messages: Check the Lens attachment. No Lens Attached. Follow the steps below to troubleshoot this issue. If model-specific information is required to complete any of https://sony-paa-pa-en-web--paa.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/86690/~/the-camera-does-not-recognize-the-lens-and-an-error-message-is-displayed. the steps in this solution, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the product. Make sure you are using a compatible lens. To check the list of compatible lenses for your camera, refer to the following link: Camera Body-Lens Compatibility http://www.steves-digicams.com/knowledge-center/how-tos/troubleshooting-repair/troubleshoot-a-digital-camera-that-says-lens-error-on-screen.html Information IMPORTANT: If attaching the camera body to an astronomical telescope or other similar device, (depending on your camera) it will be necessary to do one of the following: Set the mode dial to Manual (M). Set the Release lens error w/oLens option in the camera menu to Enable. Set the Shutter lock option in the camera menu to Off: no lens. NOTE: Some Lensbaby lenses may attach to the camera body. However, Lensbaby lenses do not communicate electronically with the camera body and cannot be recognized. Sony does not support the use of Lensbaby lenses. Check if the lens is connected properly. NOTE:If the lens is not attached properly, the connection points that enable communication between the camera cannot recognize lens body and lens do not make contact. Do not push the lens release button, but turn the lens clockwise and attach to the camera body until it clicks. Below is an example of the lens release button location. Lens release button position (NEX-7) Turn off the camera. Remove the lens from the body of the camera. Examine the pins on the body of the camera that connect to the lens. If there is dirt on the contacts of the body or the lens, the camera body may not recognize the lens due to attachment failure. Wipe dirt from the contacts using a cotton swab or a dry soft cloth (cleaning cloth, etc.), then attach the lens to the camera body. IMPORTANT: When wiping the dirt off, be careful to keep dust or debris from getting inside the camera body or the lens. Take care not to touch the lens surface. Do not use force but wipe lightly so as not to put pressure on the contacts of the body. Lens contacts Make sure nothing is covering or obstructing the metal contacts on the lens by cleaning the contacts. Body contacts Ensure the pins are not bent. Ensure nothing is covering or obstructing the pins. IMPORTANT: If the pins on the camera body are bent, thenService will be required. If there are no bent pins or other obstructions, reattach the lens to the camera bo
of the most common failure modes for digital cameras. You may get a message on your LCD screen that states "E18 Error" or "Lens Error, Restart Camera." Depending on the make and model of your digital camera, the camera may beep as the lens goes in and out, or the lens may not even move at all. The most common culprit for a lens error is some kind of obstruction that is interfering with the lens extension mechanism. If you dropped your digital camera with the lens extended, a lens error message may also appear on your screen. Here are some troubleshooting tips for when this occurs: Cleaning If there is any dirt, sand, grit, etc. stuck around the lens barrel, it will be very difficult for the camera lens to extend. Using a microfiber cloth, you can clean the camera lens and try to clean around the lens and in the barrel. You can also try using compressed air to forcibly blow out any obstructions that are located around the lens barrel. If you choose this method, you must ensure that none of the compressed air touches the lens itself, as the pressure of the compressed air may damage your lens. Batteries Remove the batteries from your digital camera and wait a few minutes. Place brand new batteries in the digital camera and turn it on. If you still get an error message, turn the digital camera off and turn it back on while holding the function or OK button. If that doesn't work, remove the memory card and keep it removed for a few minutes. Make sure that you have brand new batteries in the camera. When you turn the camera back on, you will most likely receive an error message due to the memory card being removed. That is okay, as sometimes the error message from not having a memory card loaded will trigger a reset. To see if this has worked, place the memory card back into the digital camera and power it on again. Audio/Video Cables When you purchased your digital camera, an audio/video (AV) cable should have came with the camera. Take that cable and plug it into the the AV
