Need fix without spending \015 I bought my Nikon just about a year ago and I've had Lens Error problems with it before, but I had been able to fix them by turning my camera on and off for a while. http://www.lionebra.com/nikon_coolpix_p1_digital_camera/q1565578-nikon_coolpix_s550_lens_error_need_fix This time, though, the lens isn't even opening, it's just making noises for a little bit, then it says Lens Error. I brought it to the beach the day before and it was working fine. I get that there is probably sand http://www.manualslib.com/manual/712354/Nikon-Coolpix-P600.html?page=205 in it or I accidentally bumped it, but I can't afford to get it fixed because it will cost $130, and the camera was only $200. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could possibly fix this problem myself, or lens error without using a ton of money.\015 Answers : No, even if you could find a lens for free this is not an easy camera to replace the lens on.
