Please re-enable javascript to access full functionality. mac os error result code=-39 Started by gd7288 , Mar 05 2007 07:04 PM Please log in to reply 18 replies to this topic #1 gd7288 gd7288 Rookie Members 23 posts Posted 05 March 2007 - 07:04 PM i download video ts files from the net....concert videos...was using toast 6 and 7 previously and have never had aproblem burning these files to a DVD.after getting toast 8. i cannot burn a single dvd from these types of files. i have tried 8x's with completely different files from different sources. the program multi-plexes just fine as just as it starts to record up comes the mac os error.what the hell??i would just go and use my older toast program but i deleted it as soon as i downloaded toast 8.does anyone know what this error code is?thankx Back to top #2 tsantee tsantee Digital Guru Members 14,131 posts Gender:Male Location:Eugene, Oregon Posted 05 March 2007 - 09:01 PM That error usually happens when the drive is having trouble with the media. I'd try a different brand of media, such as Verbatim. Also, choose Save as Disc Image instead of clicking the burn button. When the disc image is finished, choose it with the Image File setting in the Toast Copy window and burn the disc from it. Let us know if that works. Try different media like Verbatim or Sony.2. Make sure Buffer Underrun Protection is enabled (if supported)3. Lens on burner might be dusty. Try again. See button to lower left screen near burn in toast .iteachmac : Before you try to burn another dvd or save a disk image , please restart the Mac holding the shift key using a usb keyboard or kb on laptop etc , you will see a bar line , showing a disk repair . . Once booted restart as normal , and test burning a disk image , save as disk image the same dvd you where burning .
