Atouraya Level 1 (0 points) Q: I can't install Mac Os X Update combined 10.6.8 I can download Mac Os X Update combined 10.6.8, but when I restart to install the update, the message, "The update could not be expanded, and may have been corrupted during downloading.The update will be downloaded and checked again the next time that Software Update runs" comes up. I'm using a MacBook btw. Please help me solve this, thank you! I just replaced my current router with my old one and it worked. I read that someone fixed the problem by doing this. So I gave it a shot and voila it updated! Thank you to everyone who were giving me suggestions on how to fix this problem. It was much appreciated! But, when I skipped the verification it takes me to the installer. Then when it's installing it stops and says, "The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. The file “SUBaseSystemCombo10.6.8.pkg” couldn’t be found on the server “swcdn.apple.com”. The file “iTunesX.pkg” couldn’t be found on the server “swcdn.apple.com”. I'm not sure why the error happens. Could someone suggest a way to diagnose or get past the issue?
