Just installed Ver 2.0.50 on a new VM Win 7 Pro 64-bit workstation. Installed a fresh copy of QB Ent. 12.0 and copied the company file to create a dev copy. I added a new user called OpenSync to QB. He has full access.I added the OpenSync app to QB when I added the Company file. (I later removed it and added it again per post #8970)I created a task in OS to push changes to Service Items up to QB.With QB closed, I ran the task interactively: Failed. A tip is to enter regedit under the key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{Your product's ProductCode} and edit the uninstall string to also contain /L*V c:\msi.log. (For some reason not every program has this uninstall string entry, don't know why, since all my products have) Then the uninstall will be logged, and you can search for return value 3 and then maybe see the problem.
