Have you checked the actual value that causes the error? If I copy the sql to design view I just get the overflow error immediately. I then removed the calcs and the query would run. Then I started playing around to see if I could get the calculations to work. I changed all values in the original table to doubles and set the "group by" total to expression. I have it working for now, so I hope that will suffice. Thanks! Roger rconverse, Jan 8, 2008 #4 This thread has been Locked and is not open to further replies. Check the data in the underlying query carefully, and in particular look for the value of todaysGospelPres being 0 somewhere. This field is an alias for the Count done in line 3. If you check line 9 of the SQL statement above you will see that this count is used as the divisor in the expression Format((todaysGospelPresJewish / todaysGospelPres), "Percent") One way of avoiding such an error is to test the value, and if it is 0 substitute a suitable value instead. There is more than one way to do this, so here are two examples: Expand

The result I'm shooting for is that if [Production] is zero, indicate zero, otherwise compute the percent of collection. ([PP] is the amount collected and is a negative number in the table). Pretty stumped here... Thank you! The table doesn't have any null values so if there are no monies yet collected, it would be zero.
