Each customer need to be able to be associated with mulitple pieces of media. Each piece of media needs to be able to be asscociate with multiple customers. I plan on making 2 main forms, one for viewing media information with a subform of all customer associated with that media, and one to do the opposite. While creating the media form I have run into a problem. Records are not being added to the lookup table and the first time I update a field in the customer subform I get the error "Field cannot be updated" Customer ---------- (PK) ID - Autonumber FirstName LastName etc.. Media ------------- (PK) ID - Autonumber Location Type etc.. Lookup -------------- CustomerID MediaID Media.ID has a 1 to many cascade update relationship with Lookup.MediaID Customer.ID has a 1 to many cascade update realtionship with Lookup.CustomerID Last edited by Nihilistic Mystic; Aug 21st, 2007 at 12:34 PM. From the word "subform" I presume you are doing this in Access.. and
