At any given time, there are 2-5 users in a database simultaneously. Most of these Access databases link to SQL Server tables using ODBC.Some users are getting a "reserved error -1104". They get this message sporadically, and not every user gets this message. Most times, if they exit the database and get back in there is no problem and no further messages. The Network Administrator checks the network and file servers and there is no evidence of a network issue. We HAVE found that when one person gets the message another person in another building on another floor will often get it around the same time.We have compacted and repaired databases regularly. We are monitoring SQL Server and Network activity and there is no consistency to indicate what is generating this message. Does anyone have any idea wha

I have compacted and repair db. That did not help. I can log off db and come back in ms access and everything seems to be working ok. Then in a few minutes it pops back in. When the error comes in none of the macros work. The db is split, using SQL as the BE. We have a script that if you delete the db on your computer a fresh db comes in and places it back on computer. I have deleted the ms access reserved db and that did not work. Any ideas? __________________ Men and Women love their country, not because it is great, but because it is their own. Do you not share one FE DB file? Have you gone through a complete Decompile and Compact process, not just Compact?
