Spam Profanity Threats/Abuse Inappropriate Virus/Danger Broken Links Other If this is yhe only backup file you have and it's not getting restored, you should contact POS Tech Support so that they can escalate it to QB Data Services. you will send the backup file to them to see if they can get repaired. Also if you have any other backup file, try restoring from that and if you have any database file, you can send that database file also to QB Data Services. kumarharish Comment View more 1 additional answer No answers have been posted This post has been closed and is not open for comments or answers. I'm worried there might be some kind of problem either with my hard disks or with some software (windows, symantec, something) Twice so far on seperate files native error I've gotten this error when I try to delete them: "Invalid size or check sum of file or unsupported compression format - Native error: 00008. File processing error, possibly disk is full" Abort, retry, ignore The disk is not full. One was some random software download and the 2nd was Media Player 10 setup exe. If I've seen 2 in 2 days like this, I have to assume there are a lot more with native error 00008 this problem. Yahoo search doesn't turn up anything useful. What could this mean? This is a very recent (within 3 weeks) install of windows and I just put Norton AV on it. I haven't run a full virus scan... I doubt it since I don't really install anything weird/shady or go to any offbeat websites. I'll try it though. Augie #5 augiem, Nov 2, 2006 augiem Senior member Joine
