Happens regardless of bit-rate of song. Somtimes it will "network error" for a minute or so then start if I hit play again, sometimes not. As far as I'm concerned, the player is *completely* unusable because of this. WTF? Reply to this post Permalink | Report abuse Do you think this post adds to the discussion? I have sent multiple emails to them asking how to fix it, out to see if they are even trying, but have not gotten any replies. Sucks because they said to expect a reply in 12 hours. Been 2 days and nothing. Getting ready to move on. I really want this to work, but it is unusable unless I'm on wifi, and honest

using Google's Honeycomb music app, then yesterday's announcement of Amazon's Cloud Drive and Cloud Player (built into the existing Amazon MP3 app) was undoubtedly very good news for you. In addition to https://www.amazon.com/Cloud-player-network-error/forum/Fx1FXZJET22FVJX/Tx2Z2L2ZVJA3SKT/1?asin=B000QFOD8E the convenience of shopping for new music from Amazon's music store within the app, you were likely anxious to push all the tunes taking up space on your EVO's microSD card straight to your free Cloud Drive (5GB included, $1/year for every extra gig, and 20GB free upgrade with purchase of an album) for streaming when you're connected to WiFi or 3G/4G. And then http://www.pocketables.com/2011/03/old-fix-solves-new-network-error-when-using-amazon-cloud-player-on-htc-evo-4g.html you tried it . . . and discovered that a "network error" kept preventing you from streaming anything over 3G/4G. The fix? The same one that boosts 3G speeds and corrects the music streaming problem introduced by the last official OTA update (version 3.70.651.1). If you already followed the tutorial last time (here's the link again if you missed it in the previous sentence) or are using a custom ROM that has the fix baked right in, then Cloud Player has probably been running on your EVO all day. But if the "network error" has caused you to swear off Amazon MP3 until it works with your phone, then the old fix should take care of it. Thanks, Hatchetdawg! About the Author Jenn K.
