You could fix this by just replacing that board. Try to place it in standby mode first by unplugging it, wait a couple of minutes and then plug it back in. Category:Recorders and Players Share this conversation Expert: rahul.pattnayak replied5 years ago. Hi, panasonic dmr Thanks for using justanswer. F60 is a general error code usually related to a failure on the video processing board. If you have access to spare/replacement parts, this is an easy error to correct by simply replacing the board, but should be handy with the electronics item.If not then go for any repair shop, can be done easily. You can recognize this board as the small board with the onboard HDMI port in the model, and has the mini cables connecting to panasonic dmr es40v it. It floats above the rest of the boards in the middle back of the machine. But befour that just try this, unplugged the unit, waited a minute, then plugged it back in. When the ooooo display started I held down the power button for at least 10 seconds. This put the unit in standby mode, and from standby mode I was able to start it normally using the power button. Or a full reset With the unit powered off, press and hold the Stop and Channel Up buttons while powering on the main unit at the same time for about 5 seconds. If it does not work then go for the repair. It can be done in any electronics repair shop.Hope it helps. It would be kind enough if you please remember to click the green ACCEPT button .Regards. rahul.pattnayak and other Recorders and Players Specialists are ready to help you Ask your own question now Share this conversation Related Recorders and Players Questions Question Date Submitted My cd player displays no play 10/21/2016 10/21/2016 Aric My Panasonic PV-7400 VCR has stopped playing color VHS video 10/20/2016 10/20/2016 Nathan I just got roku ultra today and is trying to start it to 10/19/2016 10/19/2016 Pete I have a DR430KU DVD Recorder. Just before plugging in unit depress and hold POWER button. You are supposed to hold it for 30-seconds after plugging in, but in my case I did it for 60-seconds. This results in a MASTER RESET that clears all errors, resets interlocks, etc. I could not get past a DVD failure problem, but when I discovered this process everything worked fine!! Good luck! Hope it works for you too.
