Taking the toothbrush out of the VCR! I kept resetting the unit and nothing worked. Finally, I decided to see what would happen if I stuck a tape in. It wouldn't go in because of the toothbrush! I took it out, reset the unit again and it was fixed. Maybe the error is not F03, but FO3 meaning there is a FOREIGN OBJECT stuck in the VCR.
