It was after updating Itunes. You can always re-enable the Flash plug in later. I was using the Apple Updater. I got no errors when running the installer. I downloaded the 7.6 setup file and attempted to repair the install. I still receive the ... It took me forever but installing QT 7.2 and installing the less recent itunes update from filehippo finally resolved it for me. Of course the reason it took me forever was that every time I reinstalled itunes, I was using the default setting that was updating
