Problem started with trying to purchase RealPlayerPlus so I could burn DVD's. After 1-2 wks, and tech help from RP, I finally had a computer tech over to the house who told me my DVD/CD RW drive meant DVD player/cd read, write and that the drive was not set up to burn DVD. So I ordered a DVD drive from TigerDirect. Meantime, I uninstalled RP, and have gone through various problems with suggestions to delete high/low filters in the registry, etc. Now I have iTunes working, I think.. it burned a DVD that won't play on my TV DVD player, it says doesn't recognize format?...but most irritating problem at this Point is when I click on QT it goes into "safe mode" and gives me that message... 0 Message Author Comment by:kmrose2009-10-15 TK-77 As per one of the solutions, I have just uninstalled QuickTime AGAIN and I am in the process of installing an old version?? 0 Message Author Comment by:kmrose2009-10-15 TK-77 Installing old ver. , 7.1.6 I believe it was, didn't cure anything. Same response...safe mode and then error 2096. 0 LVL 12 Overall: Level 12 Digital Audio 1 Message Expert Comment by:TK-772009-10-1
