Solution Open the disk management and check whether the drive on which the file is saved is named correctly or not. If the drive is named incorrectly then QuickTime will not be able to access the files saved on it. For instance, if your F: drive is named twice, as (F:) (F:), QuickTime will not be able to recognize the F drive; thus, will not be able to play files stored on this drive. To rectify the issue, change the name of the drive to correct format, which in this instance means you will need to change it to a single (F:). This gives me an error 43 (file not found). There are no special characters in the filename or path. When I copy the file on the system drive it works... I tried to reinstall quicktime, the latest version or an older version gives me the same error. Why quicktime can not find the file even when the it is placed on the root? I checked the rights and everything seems to be good. I have no idea ... Any help is welcome! Thanks
