This is from Apple's website:Opening and Playing Files in a Web BrowserWith the QuickTime plug-in (part of the free QuickTime software), you can play most multimedia you encounter on the Internet within your web browser. On some websites, movies play automatically. On other sites, you need http://www.computing.net/answers/windows-8/error-43-a-file-could-not-be-found-apple-quicktime/1267.html to click an image of the movie or a play button. When a movie plays on a webpage, you typically see controls you can use to play, pause, fast-forward, rewind, and adjust the volume of the movie. To play a movie in a web browser, go to the website and follow the site’s instructions to play it.message edited by phil22 Report • #2 Derek June 11, 2014 at 13:15:23 If all else fails it might be worth trying VLC player (free) instead of QuickTime. VLC plays most file types - I haven't needed QuickTime for years.Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks Report • Start a discussion Related Solutions› Chrome error message: This site can't be reached › [Solved] On startup Windows 8.1 can not find client.exe › Repairing Windows 8.1 Basic › [Solved] HOw do I fix error system thread exception not handled? › Windows kernel is missing or contains errors › Why can't I boot to a clone image with UEFI? › Windows 8.1, MS update & printers not working See More ↓ Ask Your QuestionEnter more details...Thousands of users waiting to help!Ask now Weekly Poll Would you ride in a self-driving car from Tesla?
