[duplicate] up vote 0 down vote favorite This question already has an answer here: How to Tell Which Devices are in a PCI Slot 2 answers An old laptop I found (an an Acer resource conflict pci serial bus controller in slot 01 Aspire 5100 series BL51) gives this error: Phoenix TrustedCore(tm) NB Copyright 1985-2005 Phoenix Technologies All Rights Reserved System BIOS Version: V2.00 Bus:06, Device:02, Function:00 ERROR Resource Conflict - PCI in slot 03 Bus:06, Device:04, Function:00 ERROR Resource Conflict - PCI in slot 03 Bus:06, Device:04, Function:01 ERROR Resource Conflict - PCI in slot 03 Bus:06, Device:04, Function:02 ERROR Resource Conflict - PCI in slot 03 Bus:06, Device:04, Function:03 Based off of that error, I'm assuming there is a problem with PCI in slot 03, which I'm also assuming the item inserted into the PCI slot 03, but I cannot find which slot is which because they're not labelled or anything. I've tried looking on the Acer website but most things 404 and a PDF of the manual I found has nothing useful at all. Without the manual, how can I find the problematic PCI slot and fix the issue? bios pci share|improve this question edited Sep 27 '13 at 21:39 nc4pk 5,81593861 asked Sep 27 '13 at 20:48 Basically Alan Turing 141128 marked as duplicate by Ƭᴇcʜιᴇ007, Mokubai♦, Oliver Salzburg♦ Sep 29 '13 at 16:54 This question has

I fished out the dump file but I don't know what to do with it. I'm not sure if it's related but my wireless network sometimes would drop (still showing that I'm perfectly connected) and my mozilla would show that the page cannot be loaded. The last BSOD was really weird because it showed it in a mini screen (not normal resolution) and when the computer restarted it was loading but the screen was all messed up
