I added following code to the end of httpd.conf file (updated after @Galadai's answer): PHPIniDir "D:/Programy/php" LoadFile "D:/Programy/php/php5ts.dll" LoadFile "D:/Gis/PostgreSQL/9.3/bin/libpq.dll" LoadModule php5_module "D:/Programy/php/php5apache2_4.dll" AddType application/x-httpd-php .php AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps Trying to start Apache returns an error. When I run "Test Configuration", it shows following error message: httpd.exe: Syntax error on line 519 of D:/Programy/Apache/httpd.conf: Cannot load D:/Programy/php/php5ts.dll into server: Specified procedure could not be found. I had some path issues before, and the error message was almost the same, just there was "module" instead of "procedure". I have found quite a few hints for the "module" version, but their solution was usually to make sure whether the paths fit (I did this), both versions are 32/64 bit (both are 32 bit) and PHP is thread safe (it is). I didn't find any hint how to solve the "procedure" version of the error. I thought it might have been caused by difference in versions

Apache runs fine until I add the following to the httpd.conf: LoadModule php5_module "c:/php/php5apache2_4.dll" AddHandler application/x-httpd-php .php # configure the path to php.ini PHPIniDir "C:/php" As soon as I comment our these lines the server starts fine. It just doesn't seem to like this dll for some reason. Also https://www.apachelounge.com/viewtopic.php?t=5229 note that I added C:/PHP and C:/Apache24/Bin to the System Path but that didn't seem to help either. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I did just figure it out though, I needed the correct php5apache2_4.dll and found it here - http://www.apachelounge.com/download/additional/ More specifically, I downloaded php5apache2_4.dll-php-5.4-win32.zip and used the PHP 5.4.9 php5apache2_4.dll and it fired right up. It may be important to note that I am using PHP-5.4.13-Win32-VC9-x86 with the above dll. Since I am new to Apache/PHP (normally running PHP on Windows/IIS Servers) it took a while to understand the configuration but I got it now. Jun 03, the specified 2010 11:02 AM|Aluin|LINK Hello, I was recently given the task of installing PHP on an established Windows 2003 server which is currently hosting multiple websites (which means I have limited options as far as reinstalling, rebooting, etc). I used the Web Platform Installer to install PHP 5.2.13 and restarted IIS. When I first tried to render a .php page I would get a 404 error. After could not be some research I set the PHP web service extension to 'allowed' in IIS. After that, .php (with simple "hello world" and phpinfo() code) pages would then only display "The specified procedure could not be found". I assumed that the Web Installer would handle most of the settings for me so I haven't changed much. I did, however, notice that the .php mapping was set to "C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\php5ts.dll" I tried changing it to "C:\WINDOWS\system32\inetsrv\fcgiext.dll" and restarting to no avail. I have also uninstalled PHP and FastCGI with no luck. I know this isn't very much information to go on, but any instructions or help would greatly be appreciated. Jun 03, 2010 12:06 PM|don.raman|LINK Hi, Aluin I did, however, notice that the .php mapping was set to "C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\php5ts.dll" How did this happen? Did you have PHP instaled on this machine before. Please clear all previous instance of PHP including deletion of folder, deletion of any registry key etc. You can troubleshoot your PHP installation by following my blog at http://blogs.iis.net/donraman/archive/2009/11/15/troubleshooting-php-installation-on-windows.aspx.
