I'm trying to link a sophos database upgrade failed customers value list to our Dynamics NAV database. I can define the OLE DB connection and the Test Connection button reports success. But when I enter a SELECT statement and try to refresh the https://community.hpe.com/t5/Systems-Management-OpenView-OP/Getting-error-when-opening-HP-Operations-Manager/td-p/6579742 columns I get the following error. (M-Files 10.0.3911.3)I'm using the "Use Windows NT Integrated security" option and we're on a domain. That seems to work for the connection definition but then doesn't when it actually tries to connect? Is there a particular permission I need to set on the NAV database (which is MS SQL Express 2012 by the way) for it to work properly? I've tried the "Use a specific user name" option but nothing I enter will work for the connection test. How do you enter a domain user here? the usual DOMAIN\user doesn't seem to work ...Thanks,Devin Logged Mipp Newbie Posts: 7 Re: External Database Connection Issue « Reply #1 on: February 12, 2014, 09:56:50 AM » You should create separate user into NAV that has suitable user right to the NAV database. I would suggest give read-only rights
