I am not sure whats happening. I am getting Unspecified Error, I wonder why the same scripts which are running directly in UFT isn't getting ran from ALM. Scripts are running from ALM for QTP 11.0, it is only giving unspecified error for UFT 11.5 and I've also enabled the option "Allow other HP products to run tests and components" Please check the screenshots for error. I tried finding the answer for it but couldn't find anything :( Logs OK: 07/09/14 , 11:46:47:141 : FinalConstruct CAqtRemoteAgent has been created. test, we receive a message “An error occurred during the termination of the run” and when closed, Sprinter does not write any results to ALM http://eyeontesting.com/questions/8529/sprinter-1201-error-at-end-of-run-when-updating-to.html so the test is not recorded as being run. Does not matter if http://www.sqaforums.com/forums/hp-unified-functional-testing-uft-mercury-quicktest-pro-qtp/144179-getting-%22unspecified-error%22-qc-10-a.html test is a pass or a fail as the error still comes up. I have validated user permissions from the user guide. We have this issue for tdadmin project admins, so all the permissions are in check. Unsure then of the problem source. While HP Sprinter install guides do not mention such things as having UAC turned off during install, or having an admin user doing the install, I have found that those two items often have a lot of bearing on how well Sprinter works. User policy can differ substantially on what rights a user has, so its hard to pinpoint what aspect might be being handicapped if UAC was on or if an non admin did the Sprinter install. Again while HP does not specifically mention that UAC need be off or admin rights be required, I have seen the above errors resolved by fixing the above. Suggestion then is to uninstall Sprinter from your control panel, then type in UAC and set it to never notify. Reboot the machine and then have an admin user login and reinstall Sprinter. That combination has cleared up the above messages many times that I have seen for affected users.
