IntelliSense is a nice user interface feature when it works, but it has nothing whatever to do with building and running your C/C++ code. IntelliSense errors do not equal compiler errors, and trying to "fix" them is fruitless. Simply right-click anywhere on the Visual Studio error list (the click must be inside the list, not outside), then uncheck "Show IntelliSense Errors".

Opening random files shows that syntax highlighting for types is fairly hit-or-miss. This visual studio 2015 isn't new, I'm running the Update 1 CTP (14.0.24606.01) now, but I saw similar behaviour in the RTM release. I haven't seen anything like this in any other solution I've tried, but they're all orders of magnitude smaller than Roslyn. I know this isn't much to go on - I'm willing to collect logs, or anything that isn't too destructive. Also, anything that involves resizing the Error List window is ... sluggish, but I guess that's to be expected :) Pilchie added the Area-IDE label Oct 12, 2015 .NET Foundation member Pilchie commented Oct 12, 2015 Can you try: Go to Tools\Options\NuGet Package Manager\General and disable the "Allow NuGet to download missing packages" option. Close VS, and delete the .vs directory beside Roslyn.sln From the root of your Roslyn source tree, run .\nuget restore Roslyn.sln Open VS and see if you get the errors then?
