Two machines, identical systems on them, identical programs (mostly). One has Visual Studio installed, one has ... uhmm, something else. Sometimes when I try to install applications from let's say a CD, Visual Studio's Just-In-Time Debugger pops up, reports an "unhandled win32 exception in ..." and

asks whether I want to debug using "New instance of Microsoft VIsual Studio 2010". If I choose Yes, it runs VS, if I choose No it closes the thing, and I'm back in Windows Explorer. Which would be ok, except I know the application is perfectly all right, and this way I cannot install it (in this latest cast it was the client from my bank for internet banking and paying bills and such). So, how do I get rid of that thing (just-in-time debugger)? I don't want to uninstall VS since I'm using it daily, of course. Edit 1 :: I tried disabling Just-In-Time debugging in VS's Tools/Options/Debugging/Just-In-Time, then unchecking all three checkmarks, but that just gave another error when trying to run the executable installation program. An unhandled win32 exception occurred in autorun.exe [some number]. Just-In-Time debugging this exception failed with the following error: No installed debugger has Just-In-Time debugging enabled. In Visual Studio, Just-In-Time debugging can be enabled from ... Check the documentation index for 'Just-in-time debugging, errors' for more information. Very informative :/ Edit 2 :: The application runs fine on the other machine that doesn't have VS inst

Below is the exact error which I am getting from VS. I hereby request members/moderator to reply me back. While surfing internet using Internet Explorer, suddenly in between I get a pop-up from Visual Studio saying there is an error, the exact title and error is listed below : "Title : Visual Studio Just-in-Time Debugger Error Message : An unhandled win32 exception occured in IEXPLORER.EXE[3160]. Possible Debugger : New Instance of Visual Studio 2005 Two Options : (1) Set the currently selected debugger as the default. (2) Manually choose the debugging engines. Do you want to debug using the selected debugger? Yes / No " When I click "Yes" Visual Studio open in debugging mode and debug IEXPLORER.EXE and gives the following error message "Unhandled exception at 0x7c81eb33 in IEXPLORE.EXE: 0x0EEDFADE: 0xeedfade. When I click "No" it shut down almost all my open Internet Explorers. Please note that I am not working on Visual Studio. VS works in background and acting as a Debugger. Server Just in Time DebuggerError October 1, 2010 by Syed Jahanzaib Bin Hassan Leave a comment Overview Few days back my follower emailed to me and discuss about the problem of Just In Time Debugger appear in SQL Server then I found some solution related to debugger on msdn by Microsoft. After Visual Studio is installed on a server, the default behavior when an unhandled exception occurs is to show an Exception dialog that requires user intervention to either start Just-In-Time debugging or ignore the exception. This may be undesirable for unattended operation. To configure the server to no longer show a dialog when an unhandled exception occurs (the default behavior prior to installing Visual Studio), use the registry editor to delete the following registry keys: Visual Studio 2005 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AeDebug\Debugger HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework\DbgManagedDebugger On a 64-bit operating system also delete the following registry keys: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AeDebug\Debugger HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\.NETFramework\DbgManagedDebugger For further information regarding this problem then click on the mentioned link below http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/5hs4b7a6(VS.80).aspx Visual Studio 2008 and 2010 To begin Just-In-Time debugging when an error occurs In the Just-In-Time Debugging dialog box, in the Possible Debuggers list, click New instance of Visual Studio 2010 or click an instance of Visual Studio 2008 that is already running. To use Visual Studio automatically for all future crashes, click Set the currently selected debugger as the default. If you want to choose what types of code you will be able to debug, click Manually choose the debugging engines. If you do not choose this option, Visual Studio automatically selects the appropriate debug engines for the type of code in your program. Click OK. If your application contains an assembly with untrusted code, a dialog box that has a security warning appears. This dialog box enables you to decide whether or not to proceed with debugging. Before you continue with debugging, decide whether you trust the code. Did you write the code yourself? Do you trust the coder? If the application is running on a remote machine, do you recognize the name of the process? Even if the application is running locally, that does not necessarily mean it can be trusted. In Internet Explorer, for example, a malicious ActiveX control could be running. Consider the possibility of such malicious code running on your computer. If you decide that the co
