I had to replace a motherboard and so I reloaded XP with SP2 and downloaded all XP2 updates. I also have the latest driver from Canon that is compatible with SP2, and all of the other MB drivers and such are the latest. Whenever I try to print any kind of document, the printer icon appears in the system tray win32 error code for a couple of seconds and then the computer just reboots. The event viewer shows event 6161 error 259. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with antivirus off. I have changed the print processor to winprint RAW with no effect. The printer is hooked up via USB. The printer port is USB001 and doesn't show any resource conflicts. I can't find any other suggestions and am out of ideas. #1 voigts, Nov 5, 2005 GregANDTCH Golden Member Joined: Dec 10, 2000 Messages: 1,370 Likes Received: 0 The printer port is USB001 and doesn't show any resource conflicts.Click to expand... Really sounds like a resource conflict. Under "Startup and Recovery" do you have it set to NOT automatically restart. Won't fix the problem, but maybe we can see a particular file at fault. #2 GregANDTCH, Nov 6, 2005 voigts Member Joined: Feb 13, 2005 Messages: 64 Likes Received: 0 I already have it set to not automatically reboot. It reboots anyway and does not give me a blue screen. I just see the error in the event viewer. #3 voigts, Nov 6, Win32 Error Code Returned By The Print Processor 0 The Operation Completed Successfully
