After I put everything back in, and attempted to turn it on, I received a windows blue screen (I do not know if it the same error that I am receiving now). I decided that I would use DBAN, do an “autonuke” and erase everything on my hard drive. The problem:At this point I tried to do an install of Windows Vista 64bit, but immediately after the windows loading files screen, I get the stop error 0x0000007E. I get the same error every time I retry. I tried to boot in safe mode, but I had no success.Based on some searching, the error seems to be for SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED, but I have not yet figured out how to fix the error. This is the specific information after the error number: (0xFFFFFFFFC0000005, 0xFFFFF800099007DB, 0xFFFFF9800181AA18, 0xFFFFF9800181A3F0).To add to my confusion I tried to install Windows Vista 32bit, but I get this error instead, 0x00000039.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. 10 answers Last reply Nov 20, 2014 Best Answer Apr 14, 2014 More about windows stop 0x0000007e blue screen error kapitalistasApr 14, 2014, 6:53 PM its 64 bit u not gonna be able to use 32 bits its not gonna work. randomishlyingApr 14, 2014, 7:55 PM kapitalistas said: its 64 bit u not gonna be able to use 32 bits its not gonna work.
