Your system seems to have DirectX version 0.0". I have tried to run DXDiag to windows 7 verify what version I have, but I get a error message that states "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\d3d11.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or software vendor for support". I also get a second directx windows 7 error message stating "Error: Could not load DXDIAGN.DLL I know I have DX 10 on the machine since I can see it using Everest Start tools. I also believe Windows 7 has DX 11 installed on here. I have attempted to update the DirectX with DXWebSetup but it tells me I have the most current version installed. How do I get this resolved? Its me again. I downloaded Battlefield 2. I am running windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. After installation, when I try to run the game a black window opens up, but nothing more happens. About 10 seconds later a box appears saying "Error! DirectX version 9.0c or higher is required to run BF2. Please install DX9c and try again." I already have DirectX 11 on my PC (the latest one). I have tried re-installing DirectX too but I still get the error. Anyone know why this happens?!? ~Cass! Edited by Castiel, 28 October 2012 - 08:22 PM. If that doesn't work, then I'm not sure what to tell you. I had the same issue with Farcry 2 and that seemed to work for me. Good luck!
