I think it may have something to do with graphics mode switching problems, but can't really tell.SPECS:Alienware Area51 m15x 4Gb Ram, 200Gb 7200RPM internal hard-disk. 8800GTX graphics card. I suggest you take a clean boot to test if it is a software conflict issue. 1. Click Start, type "MSCONFIG" (without the quotations) in the Search Bar and Press "Enter" to start the System Configuration Utility. 2. Click the "Services" tab, check the "Hide All Microsoft Services" box and click "Disable All" (if it is not gray). 3. Click the "Startup" tab, click "Disable All" and click "OK". 4. Without and with patches. Without and with directx_Jun2010_redist. All the same... Game starts and runs fine, except corrupted textures.
