DVD Drive USB Keyboard and Mouse Here's what happened: I was runing RAID 0 with the two identical solid state drives wich contained the system files. I was using the older Hard disk for data. My system was runnung great! Untill........... I installed a new keyboard - a Logitech G510 After the installation of the new keyboard the wake from sleep functionality was not working right - the keyboard would no longer wake the computer. After tweaking settings in windows xp checksum Windows 7 I still had no results. So I moved on to the bios settings. I changed on of the settings related to the wake from S3 and rebooted. That is when the following error occured. Heres the problem, when I boot the system, it auto detects everthing fine, and then hangs at CMOS checksum bad press f1 for setup or f2 to load default value. Everytime I change the BIOS it keeps reverting back to this error. When I change the Boot order to CD first, I get the same error. I cannot get into the recovery or install program, just the BIOS. I have tried installing a new battery - reseting the BIOS via Jumper - Disconecting everything but one SSD and a CD drive. Still cant boot from CD and bios keeps reverting back to factory settings (my changes will not save, only the clock settings.) Any Ideas whats going on here? Have you tried using a different keyboard (not the Logitech G510)? Reports: · Posted 4 years ago Top RocketSurgeon Posts: 7 This post has been reported. Dammm! I reset the O.C. Started by klutzman , May 10 2011 12:33 PM Please log in to reply 5 replies to this topic #1 klutzman klutzman Members 2 posts OFFLINE Local time:01:21 AM Posted 10 May 2011 - 12:33 PM I've boot windows 7 got Windows 7 x64 installed and my power went out during boot today. After restarting, I got this error during boot:"BOOTMGR image is corrupt. The system cannot boot."I put in my Win 7 disc and tried to boot from it, but after pressing "any key to boot from cd / dvd .." I get this error:"The file is possibly corrupt. The file header checksum does not match the computed checksum."All the fixes I can find online have to do with using the recovery console, which would be awesome, if I could actually get to that point.I even tried my old Vista and XP discs, but I don't even get as far as above. The computer just stops with a small cursor near the top, often having to be powered off to restart because ctrl+alt+del doesn't even work.A fresh install is just not an option because I have important business data on the computer that I can't afford to lose. Also, I literally couldn't do that even if I wanted to since none of my windows discs will even load. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, as I'm pulling my hair out trying to find a solution.
