I've Googled this error code and found several suggestions that I've tried, but none have gotten Windows Update to work. I've tried the following: 1. Verifying the date, time, and time zone are accurate (they are accurate). 2. Deleting the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution folder and letting the Windows Update service recreate it.
